The 350-seat Paloma Theatre was opened by 1914 at 1505 S. Washington Street (since renamed S. Michigan Avenue. In later years it operated with 240-seats and was closed on May 10, 1953 with “The Lion and the Horse” & “.

Closed following the May 10, 1953 double feature of The Lion and the Horse and Moonlight Bay. It was converted to an upholstery shop soon thereafter.
