The Princess Theatre opened as early as 1919, and was renamed Star Theatre in 1950.
This didn’t last long, and closed on October 9, 1955 with Glenn Ford in “Blackboard Jungle” after the manager, Mr. Wall Rasmussen, accepted a position with the government in St. Louis, Missouri.

There is a theater on the 1913 Sanborn at what I believe is 233 3rd St. Streetview has no coverage, but I’m 90% sure. Might be the same one. A 2020 photo shows that the second floor is derelict, and the ground floor is perhaps an office of some sort.
