The Osaka City Science Museum Theater opened its doors on October 7, 1989 as a nearly ¥6,500,000,000 ($46,099,891) project, which is a donation for building equipment from Kansai Electric Power Company Incorporated as part of the 100th anniversary of the city of Osaka. One feature about this includes a 312-seat single-screen theater.
