Located in Abercynon, Glamorganshire. The Empire Cinema was opened in April 1914. It had an 18ft deep stage and four dressing rooms. The proscenium was 22ft wide. The cinema also boasted a cafe and dance hall. It presented pictures and variety from the early-1920’s.
The Empire Cinema was closed in 1946.
