Fleming Hall

Located in Aberlour, Morayshire. The Fleming Hall was built in 1895. The building has a church look, with a tall tower. It was built as a general purpose hall. After World War II around 1946 it was converted into a cinema. Operated by Spey Vale Cinemas. It was equipped with a British Thomson-Houston(BTH) sound system. It had a 22ft wide proscenium.

By 1958 it had been renamed Picture House, still operated by Spey Vale Cinemas. It was still open in 1963, but had closed by 1966.

The building was renovated around 2008 and today operates as a community centre, again named Fleming Hall, offering concerts, plays, dances and banquets.
