This ‘Moving Picture Show’ appears on the 1909 Sanborn, in a small wooden storefront that likely dated to before 1897, but certainly no later than 1902, when it was a grocery and meat market.

For whatever reason, this was not a success, and the 1918 map shows a second-hand store located here. At some point around 1920-40, the wooden buildings on this corner were replaced by an attractive brick structure that houses a hardware store today.
