The 1937 edition of Film Daily Yearbook lists the 200-seat Northport Theatre. From 1938-1943 editions of F.D.Y list a 200-seat Northport Theatre, operating as a (portable theatre). The 1950 Film Daily Year Book listed the Ore Theatre in Northport, seating 200, at 4th Street & Center Avenue.
On April 30, 1955, Boxoffice reported that Mr. and Mrs. Dave Skinner had sold the Ore Theatre to Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Gallo. It added, “The theatre was remodeled and reopened recently”.
