Located in the Sci-Port Discovery Center, the Goodman IMAX Dome Theater reopened after renovations November 25, 2022, with “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”. The Dome had originally opened November 21, 1998, with a 60-foot screen and 180 seats.
Named in honor of Sci-Port founder and financial contributor Sylvia Goodman and her family, the IMAX Dome, now has 4K laser projection, new lighting and sound.
Presenting science documentaries and first run films, “Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”, is scheduled for February 17, 2023, on its national release date.
