The Kinodrome Theatre was one of the first two movie exhibitor places (the other being the Alcazar Theatre) which came into being in Miami at the start of the twentieth century. Since the medium was still in its early stages, these were not very elaborate venues in which patrons could stand and see an entire film in a matter of minutes. The Kinodrome Theatre was still open in 1914. Both theatres were closed by 1926.
