The 750-seat Strand Theatre was opened around 1918 by the Dalke’s Valley Theaters chain. The side-walls of the auditorium featured painted murals of idyllic country scenes which have been preserved today. It was renamed Strasburg Theatre by 1933. Later reverting back to its Strand Theatre name, it was still open in 1955, but had closed by 1956. The original balcony seating area had collapsed and a new balcony has been installed. By 2022 it is home to the Box Office Brewery which features live music on Friday & Saturday evening. Historic movie posters from the 1930’s are on display.
