Located in an old quarry, 25 kilometres from Copenhagen. The Drive-In was the first one to operate in Scandinavia. It was opened on 10th June 1962 with the French film “Balloon Travel” (Voyage en Montgolfiere). With a total capacity of 1,000-cars, each car was supplied with a transistor radio to pick up the film soundtrack. On offer for sale at the concession stand was beer, hot dogs and candy. 550 cars containing invited guests attended the opening night.
