The Palm Plaza Theatres 1 & 2 were located at 939 N. Texas and opened on July 30, 1976 with Burt Reynolds in “Gator” & Charles Bronson “St. Ives”. It was owned by the following companies during these periods:

1978-1979: Texas Cinema Corporation 1979-1986: Plitt 1986- Closed on September 26, 1996 with Jean-Claude Van Damme in “Maximum Risk” & Goldie Hawn in “First Wives Club”.

It was demolished in 2022.
