The Prince Theater was both a live and film venue with seating for 1,059. It opened in the early-1900’s was operating as a movie theatre from July 12, 1912 screening William Russell in “Under Two Flags” & “The Cook Came Back”. It was equipped with a theatre pipe organ and had a six piece orchestra. On November 30, 1916 it was renamed Rialto Theatre. It was still open in 1940, but had closed by 1941. It has since been demolished.

The Prince Theatre, initially opened on July 12th, 1912, underwent a transformation and emerged as the Rialto Theatre on November 30th, 1916. Subsequently, it was managed by Southern Enterprises, Consolidated Theatres, and Spark’s. Grand opening ads posted.
