Plaza Cinemas

Located in the Wilmington Plaza Shopping Center. Chakeres Theaters Inc. opened the Plaza Twin on February 1st, 1985 with Clint Eastwood in “City Heat” and Roy Scheider in “2010:The Year We Make Contact”. Each screen had 300-seats. It closed it when the newer 5-plex opened on July 9th. 1993.
