Located in the Westfarms Mall at the town line of Farmington & Hartford, CT, which opened in 1974. The Movies at Westearms Mall was opened with the mall on October 14 1974 with Liv Ullmann in “The Abdication”, Louis de Funes in “The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob” & Clark Gable in “Gone With the Wind”. It was operated jointly by Taubman Theaters and United Artists Theatres. Each of the three screens had 400-seats. The mall was expanded in 1982, but the theatre closed in 1984.
The mall was further expanded in 1995-1997 and was remodeled in 2008-2009, but is now without a movie theatre.
