The Outdoor Drive-In was opened by 1949, operated by W.C. Macon. By 1950 it had been renamed Asheville Outdoor Drive-In. Around 1955 it was renamed West Asheville Drive-In. Still operated by W.C. Macon. It was still open in 1966 as the West Ashville Auto Theatre.

Still open in 1966 under the name West Asheville Auto Theatre.
