Touchet is a very small (population of less than 500} agricultural community located in Walla Walla county. There is record of two theatres listed in the community, the 200-seat Modern W Theatre, in operation by 1926 thru 1929 and the Liberty Theatre, in the 1940’s (which never got a listing in editions of Film Daily Yearbook. Based on the size of the community they were probably one of the same.
