A 1955 aerial doesn’t show any indication of a drive-in that I can find near the crossroads that is listed as Rio. This may be a temporary drive-in that left no mark.

Its because it was located between Sparks and Adel, hence the name “Spardel”. It’s present in a 1956 aerial at the current address of Branch Circle, Sparks, GA. In the next aerial of 1972, its been demolished. Annoying how these places were listed in the completely wrong locations!

A closer address would be 711 South Ave, Sparks, Georgia.

After all, Branch Circle is just to the north of the what was the old entrance road. This one is somewhat closer, although not 100% on the spot.

The area is now a trailer park. I can find no trace of the old drive-in remaining.
