The Hayden Plaza West Theatre was opened by Statewide Theatres from Los Angeles on February 18th, 1965 with Sean Connery in “Goldfinger” & Jean-Paul Belmondo in “That Man from Rio”, and closed by General Cinemas. It was also owned by Loews and Century Cinemas (Arizona).

Grand opening ad posted
Opened on 18th February 1965 with “Goldfinger” and “That man from Rio”.
General Cinema briefly operated the Hayden Plaza twice. First on June 28, 1972 when it took over from Loew’s Inc. and ending in December 1973 when the Century Circuit took over the theater. General Cinema took the theater over again from December 22, 1976 until March 2, 1977.
