The Eureka was one of two multiplexes opened by Wehrenberg Theatres May 20, 1984. The theatre is located just east of Six Flags Over St. Louis. A square box type theatre with nothing notable in architecture. This was the first theatre to open in Eureka in some 47 years. The area is a growing suburb of St. Louis with new subdivions and shopping popping up all around. This was the beginning of their expansion into the suburbs and shopping malls.
The theatre closed in spring of 2004.

It has also since been demolished.
I remember staying at the hotel near this theatre in June 2002 while visiting Six Flags. Never went inside though.
I remember however that Spider-Man and The Sum Of All Fears were two of the films playing there at the time.

Never went to this place but, from what I can recall, it was never one of the more popular Wehrenberg Theaters. Of course, if there are those who disagree, let them be heard…
