This is the smaller of two current cinemas in Urbino, a hill town in the Marche region of Italy, southeast of Pesaro. Urbino was the birthplace of painter Raphael (Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino), born in 1483. This can be described as an art house, specializing in films that are less mainstream, both new and old. The Cinema Nouva Luce opened in 1950. It currently (in 2022) operates on Tuesday & Wednesday evenings.
