On November 25th, 1970, the Showcase Cinemas 1 & 2 premiered with Alan Arkin in in “Catch 22” and Robert Redford in “Little Fauss and Big Halsy”. In 1981, two more screens and one of the original theatres were split up, resulting in a total of five cinemas. It was decommissioned in 2002.
