This theatre was located in an old stone-fronted two-story commercial building constructed sometime around 1880. By 1923 it was in retail use.
The Cosy Theatre was opened on August 31, 1946 with Anita Louise in “Personality Kid”. It was closed on August 6, 1949 with Charles Starrett in “Buckaroo from Powder River” & Shazam". It became a VFW hall, The building was demolished many years ago, but a small fragment of the facade still clings to the neighboring structure at 120.

The Cozy Theatre launched August 31, 1946 with “Personality Kid” with Anita Louise. It closed permanently on August 6, 1949 with a double feature of “Buckaroo from Powder River” and “Kazan” before being converted to a VFW Hall.
