Located in the southern storefront of the Little Building, a substantial 2-story commercial block of brick and stone.
The building was constructed sometime between 1903 and 1908, when the map shows a gas company office and plumber sharing this space. By 1914 it was operating as the Theato Theatre. By 1921 it appeared on the 1921 map as the Lyric Picture Theatre.
No later maps are available, but at some point the top floor was hacked off, and some very ugly storefronts were inserted.
The space is currently used as a live music venue, but the interior appears to have little to nothing remaining.

A list of subscribers to the American Motion Picture League published in the December 20, 1913 issue of Moving Picture World includes the Theato Amusement Co. of Sheffield, Alabama. The Theato is the only movie house listed at Sheffield in the 1914-1915 American Motion Picture Directory.
