Located in Roscrea, County Tipperary. The Roscrea Picture Palace was active by 1915 and was situated where John Dillon’s bike shop is located in 2022, just across the way from where the Castle Twin Cinemas would later be located. It was opened by Val Powell and lasted until sometime in the 1920’s. It was closed following security concerns over its close proximity to the Garda barracks.
