Located in Dockray Place, a new residential and commercial development known as Hawley Wharf beside the Regent’s Canal. There are 150 retail outlets, 60 food outlets and 195 apartments. It is built on the site of Camden Canal Market, destroyed by fire on 8th February 2008, The fire also badly damaged the Hawley Arms pub on Castlehaven Road. The very popular Camden Market still operates on the other side of Chalk Farm Road.
The 5-screen Curzon Camden is located under existing railway arches and was designed by Takero Shimazaki with hints in the décor of New York jazz bars. It was opened on 29th October 2021. Each screen has 30-seats. Opening films were “Dune”, “No Time to Die”, “The French Dispatch”, “Last Night in Soho”, “Passing” & “The Harder They Fall”.
