The Empire Theatre, Main Street, Pascoag was listed in the 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory. It was the only movie theatre listed in that town.
In the 1926 edition of Film Daily Yearbook the 400-seat Star Theatre was the only theatre listed for Pascoag.
There are references in lists from around 1915 to a theatre in Pascoag called the Empire. Could that have been the Star or the Music Hall, or was it another location?

This theatre was part of the September 1923 6th Paramount Week. In this advertisement from the (Providence) Evening Tribune, September 1, 1923, we see a fascinating list of Rhode Island area theatres, many long-gone and long-forgoten, or even unheard of, as well as what they were showing during that week. If this is the theatre I am thinking of, I saw A Hard Days Night here multiple times. My brother dated a girl whose parents owned the theatre and I would get parked there while he was on a date.
If I remember correctly, the family name was Deroy or Deny.
I spoke to an old gentleman in Pascoag today at the hardware store and he said that the Star was located at or very near the spot where the current Subway sandwich shop is located at 130 Main Street.

Here is a photo of the Star Theatre dating to around 1943, judging by the film Buckskin Frontier. The Photo was taken because of the fire in progress. I have the feeling it was brought under control and that the theatre continued in operation for another decade or two. The truncated film title on the left side of the marquee could be “Ann Sothern and Eddie Cantor in Kid Millions.” But that was a 1934 film…a revival perhaps, or is it something else? Many thanks to the Burrillville Historical Society for making available this historic photo.
This theatre was not also called the Music Hall, as I inquired in an earlier comment. The Music Hall in Pascoag was another building that burned down a few years ago.
