Inside the souvenir back cover is located a list of many firms and individuals responsible for constructing this fine addition to the City Civic Centre - alongside Sydney Town Hall and St. Andrew’s Anglican Cathedral. Architect Cedric Heise Ballantyne’s glory years of movie palace design lasted just a few short years 1925-29. Large scale work like this dried up when the Depression hit.
