Not to be confused with Brandon’s Plitt 4 (or IV), the Clearwater Plitt 4 opened its doors on February 12, 1982. Plitt operated the theater for a bit more than 5 years until being taking over by Cineplex Odeon in 1987. It was then renamed as the Countryside Village 4. In June 1995 it was taken over by Carmike. It was closed on October 15, 1998.

Now a HomeGoods furnishing location sits on the theater’s site.

No grand opening ad appeared, just regular listings.
