Mock and Foreman opened the Niobrara Theatre in downtown Springview, Nebraska on January 27, 1940 with Edgar Bergen in “Charlie McCarthy, Detective". The theatre was in a converted retail space in the Smith Building and seated 160.
In 1965, the theatre installed widescreen projection to show CinemaScope titles. Don Gibson closed for the summer with Cary Grant in “Father Goose” on May 16, 1966. It’s not clear if it reopened. It appears to be the home of the local library as of the 2020’s.
