Steve Bennis’s 1954 obituary in the Bloomington Pantagraph mentioned that he opened an airdome “on Pulaski Street and operated it for several years”. It had opened in May 1911.
The Moving Picture World wrote on May 8, 1915 that “Steve Bennis has sold his Airdome, at Lincoln, to C. J. Price, of Effingham". It was closed in 1915. The Arcade Building was built on the site of the Airdome in 1929.
