The Electric Theatre opened as early as 1907.
On March 14, 1914, the Electric Theatre once closed its doors after a breakdown of the machinery towards the end of the film entitled “Pompeli”. The compensark was considered broken but was later replaced by a newer one as J. M. Bower made his special trip to Kansas City the day later in order to have his machine in working order. He replied that “there was a huge crowd in the city and the breakdown means a great loss for him”.
Sound was later installed during a Paramount marathon in May 1930.
Like the Rivoli Theatre, the Electric Theatre also has the same air conditioner as the Rivoli Theatre. Both Rivoli Theatre and Electric Theatres were under the same management at one point.
The theatre continued to operate until 1941, and was closed.

The October 27, 1917 issue of Motography said that the Electric Theatre in Falls City had reopened following remodeling.
The 1909 and 1916 Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps show the location of the Electric Theatre as 1606 Stone Street.
