Opened in June 1904, the Lumina Entertainment complex screened movies on a screen installed in the surf above the waves. It stopped screening movies in 1930 when silent movies were phased out. The Lumina Pavilion was damaged by Hurricane Hazell in 1954. It was demolished in May 1973.

According to this page at DocSouth, Lumina began showing movies in July, 1905, and appears to have ceased its movie operation in 1930. The entire venue was designed by local architect Henry E. Bonitz.
The Lumina Pavilion opened in june 1940(hear the last stop on the local tram line(closed in 1940?)). The Lumina Pavilion was damaged in 1954 by huricane Hazel(may have closed before then in the early 1950’s?. Demolished in may 1973(along with the screen?). The site is now condominiums. Smallest movie screen in the World?
