The Palm Theatre opened in 1923 at earliest (although the grand opening advertisement or date hasn’t been found as of my research), and sound was installed just a week right before Christmas in December 1929. Although the Palm Theatre however had the same ownership with the nearby Foley Theatre in which the Palm Theatre is a white-peopled only theatre. The theatre had many remodels from here and there between 1937 and 1941, but closed in 1943 after many problems.

Snipes, confused by your intro. Palm Theatre is whites only Foley is what? No indication on the Foley site.
It Severely Confused Me. According To The Newspaper From 1943, It Reads That The Palm Is Actually A White-Peopled Theater According To An Article. I Do Not Know What The Foley Is, But It Didn’t Say It The Article But I Know It Actually Did Share Ownership With The Foley At One Point.
