Located in the village of Tarleton, Lancashire, to the southwest of Preston and northeast of Southport. The Queen’s Cinema was on Picture Fold, a small lane leading to the school playing fields. It was opened by 1928 and was soon equipped with a AWH sound system. It was operated by the same operators as the Queen’s Cinema, High Park, Southport and the Queen’s Picture House, Formby. It was still open in 1948, but had closed by 1949.
It was converted into a doctor’s surgery and has since been converted into housing.

Operated by Ronnie and Vera Knight prior to closure. It was then converted into a doctor’s surgery before conversion to a private residence. This from the Tarleton History Group on Facebook.
