This opened as Royal Cinemas as a twin with the theatres called King and Queen by Esquire Theatres on December 20th, 1974, and closed in 1976. It reopened as Lexington Mall Cinemas 1 & 2 on May 25th, 1977 by Mid-States Theaters Inc. Later on, it was with USA Cinemas, Loew’s, and Sony Theatres. Closed in June 28, 1997. It was reopened on October 2, 1998 as the Lexington Cinema Grill. It was closed on June 3, 1999.
