Protestant Hall in Church Street. Dubbo that became the ROXY Theatre in 1935.

Opened on 15th February 1935. Possibly operated inside an historic Masonic centre(built circa 1888). By 1946 it was operated by L.G. Scarff. By 1950 it was operated by Western Cinemas Property Ltd. By 1956 it was operated by Snider & Dean Theatres. By 1959 it had returned back to being operated by Western Cinemas Property Ltd. Closed in circa 1969 or 1970?. It has returned to being a Masonic Hall.

Apparently the Roxy was a replica of the Liberty Theatre in Sydney.

It was always considered the poor cousin to the Monarch Theatre in Darling Street, Dubbo.
