Camera Lichtspiele

Construction for this theatre started in the early summer of 1957 and was completed on April 19, 1958. The grand opening was on 1st September 1958, showing the comedy “An American in Salzburg” starring Bruce Low and Margit Saad. Owned by Karl Neumann, the theatre operated only for six years, closing on 2nd April 1962 with John Wayne in “The Commancheros”. Building demolished in 2011.
