This theatre appears on the 1914 Sanborn, in the western storefront of a large, three story commercial block built sometime before 1887 as a fraternal hall, possibly by the Catholic Knights of America. As is typical with this style of building, the third floor was a large, high-ceilinged hall, the second floor offices, and the ground floor divided into storefronts.
The 1907 map shows the western third as a saloon, with a cigar factory above it. The theatre was not a success, and by 1924, the space is once again a store. The building today is in excellent condition, and serves as the Shelby County annex.
