Located in the Grand Boulevards district of central Paris, across the street and down the road from the Grand Rex Cinema. The Maxeville was opened as a 4-screen cinema in the early 1970’s. There was a large auditorium and 3 smaller ones. By 1985 it was operating as a 5-screen cinema, the extra screen was very small.
It was closed on 30th January 1990. The cinema has been converted into a Hard Rock Café restaurant.
