Horizon Cinemas opened March 6, 2020, in the former Mars Grocery as the fifth location for the chain operated by Robert Weinholt Sr. and sons.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic Horizon Cinemas closed March 16, 2020, and reopened September 4, 2020.

The eight-screen cinema serves food, beer, wine, and has a party room.
