The Standard Theatre was operated by Fred “Skid” Kimball. It had become the Grand Theatre by 1910. It was destroyed by fire on January 19, 1920.

From the Historic New England website. “Opened in 1910, G. W. Kimball owned the theater and leased it to H. DeMotte Perry. The theater hosted vaudeville acts and movies. The theater was destroyed in a fire on January 19, 1920.”
A history of Rockingham published by the town of Bellows Falls in 1958 says that, prior to being taken over by H. DeMotte Perry in 1912, the Grand had been known as the Standard Theatre, and had originally been operated by a Fred “Skid” Kimball.
