Cary’s only theatre in its history was the Tomisky Theatre which opened as early as 1914 when the town was named Cary Station. Prior to its opening in Cary, the closest theatres were the main 3 silent-era theatres in Crystal Lake. There is not a lot of information about this theatre. It was closed in 1922, but had reopened by 1926 as the Cary Ward Theatre. It had closed by 1927.
