Located beside the Grand Hotel. The Regent Theatre possibly dated from the 1920’s. By 1946 it was part of the Kerridge-Odeon chain and J.C. Williamson Picture Corp. Ltd. It was still open in 1969. The auditorium was demolished in 2000. The front of the building remains and is in use in 2020 by a unisex hairstylist Major Teeze Cutz.
