Appearing on the 1912 Sanborn, this theater was a simple wooden single story building in a rapidly growing downtown. This lot was empty in 1905. The front and rear were tin-clad. The 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory give the address as 3rd Street and Main Street. The rear wall had an odd cutout which would have meant that the screen (if it was against the rear wall) would have been offset to the north. A small shack on the rear held a 12hp engine and dynamo to power the building.
From a peak population of over 2,200, Scammon has collapsed to about 450. The buildings on this end of the block were long ago replaced by a small public swimming pool.

Note that the address is a best guess for something on the third lot north of 2nd street on the east side of Main.
