Mephisto Kino

Located in the city center. The City Filmtheater was opened in 1959 when it was listed with 488-seats. It was operated by Hans Maischberger and was designed by architects Walter Glogger & Klaus Fleeniger. Around 1989 the cinema was re-named Mephisto Kino and the seating capacity was reduced to 270. Since 1998 it has been a member of the Europa Cinemas group of art house cinemas.
