Savoy Picture Palace

Located in Mold, Flintshire, north Wales. The Savoy Picture Palace was opened in August 1926 and was independently operated throughout its life. All seating was on a single floor. It had a 30ft wide proscenium, the stage was 18ft deep and there were four dressing rooms. It was equipped with a British Acoustic(BA) sound system.

It was closed in December 1972 with Charlton Heston in “Skyjacked”. It was demolished in 1973 and a Telephone Exchange was built on the site.
