Located in the north of the city centre in the district of Wedding. The Valencia Filmpalast was opened on 22nd December 1953. Designed by architect Gustav Klohn, it had 900-seats in orchestra & balcony levels. The opening attraction was Errol Flynn in the Technicolor production “The Master of Ballantrae”. It was operated by Friedrich Lachheim & Georg Becker. The colour of was auditorium walls were yellow. The red colour seats were by Stuessel. The size of the stage was 12x7 meters. The Valencia Filmpalast was equipped with a Magical Mirror screen for 3D projection. In 1956 a CinemaScope screen was installed and a 4-channel stereophonic sound system by Rohde & Schwarz was added. At the same time the seating capacity was reduced to 888. The B 12 projectors were by Bauer.
The cinema was closed and demolished in 1964. An apartment block now stands on the site.
