The Goodwater Enterprise recommends that there are a total of 4 theatres the city of Goodwater previously had in its history. The earliest one is the Crystal Theatre located at the McNeal building in which was operate throughout January 1910. This theatre only lasted for that month ONLY.
The city of Goodwater also used to have yet another short-lived theatre in 1911 which they used to have the “Liberty Theatre”. Before the Rex Theatre opened its doors on April 18th, 1936, the Goodwater Enterprise showed advertisements for Dadeville’s Palace Theatre, and Alexander City’s Strand Theatre until the Rex Theatre’s appearance. Once the Eris Theatre begin opening on July 1st, 1947, only the 2 nearby theatres were shown on the Goodwater Enterprise.
So it’s unrecognizable when the Crystal Theatre continued to show events after January 1910.
