Cine Verano

An open air cinema, in the same control as the town’s Alhambra, which may well have a very uncertain future since the closure of the indoor all year operation.

It opened in 1964 and when viewed in May of 2003, it appeared to be ready for operation. It closed in 2003 and was demolished with the adjacent Cine Alhambra in June 2004. It was however in a built up area and the photograph, taken from the adjoining street, shows a surprisingly large amount of the screen!
